Paul Smith's early dreams were of becoming a professional cyclist, but after an accident he developed a love of clothing and drew inspiration from the creative stars of the 1960s.

Since Paul opened his first shop in 1970, the Paul Smith brand has consistently pushed the boundaries of men's fashion, combining sharp tailoring with quirky prints and statement colours. It has also ventured into successful women's, children's and home ranges.
